Sharing your ideas online offers the chance to find inspiration in other people’s work and forming a community of artists that can become a real hub of creativity. That is why we’ve recently launched Themes Of The Month to bring like-minded Zippi artists together so they can boost their creativity and share their art online.<\/p>\n

October saw the ‘Hug the Bacon<\/a><\/strong>‘ theme bring a tasty twist to the art world:<\/p>\n

Since we are all coming together to share art online, we asked fellow Zippi artist\u00a0Monica Carvalho<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>what she thought about the ‘Theme of the Month’ idea:<\/p>\n

‘I think it is a very clever idea because it is nice\u00a0to see other artists\u2019 interpretations of a particular theme. Everyone sees things differently, and\u00a0one Theme Of The Month\u00a0might be more meaningful for one person than it is for another. Artists can all\u00a0learn from each other and, most importantly, improve thanks to each other\u2019s interpretations\u00a0and ideas. For instance, for my photo montages with pictures of space owe greatly to artists\u00a0like Jesse Treece and Beth Hoeckel.<\/p>\n

‘Without these influences, I would probably not have had\u00a0the idea to create artworks such as \u2018The Afterbirth\u2019 or \u2018Crunchy Toffee Pieces\u2019. \u2018The\u00a0Afterbirth\u2019, in particular, had a lot of success: during an exhibition I recently held in London,\u00a0it was the most sold print. So basically, thanks to all the amazing artists I discovered online, I\u00a0have been able to create artworks that have in turn been successful too and make people who\u00a0buy them happy!’<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
