British born, and now Berlin based artist. Originally I trained at Central School of Speech and Drama in London as a Scenic Artist, painting for the stage and screen. After graduating in 2010 I went on to run my own furniture painting business, revamping old, unloved furniture. In 2013 I made the move to Berlin, Germany, where I have gone back to my love of pencil drawing and painting. Inspired by travel, photography and people watching. This piece was inspired by the floors and tiles I draw in my ‘Art Beneath Our Feet’ series. I wanted to create some pieces purely of the intricate patterns I find on the floors I draw. This design primarily uses a beautiful turquoise shade with subtle darker tones blended in to create a striking look.
