It’s time to say goodbye to winter, and all of the horrible cold dark evenings 😣, and say hello to spring! 😄
We are entering the month of March! This year, the first day of spring falls on Wednesday 20th March 2019. The last day falls on Friday 21st June which is summer solstice ☀️. Summer solstice is when we experience the day with the longest period of daylight.
Also don’t forget that the clocks 🕓 go forward on March 31st which is Mothering Sunday.
We love spring because…
Spring is the season of new beginnings. It is the start of lovely, light evenings, warmer temperatures, and flowers in bloom 🌺 🌻🌸 🌼
It’s that time of year where everything seems to come to life again, the animals come out of hibernation, the farmers plant fresh seeds ready to harvest in the coming months, and the world seems a little more colourful and fresh than it was before.
So let the month of March put a spring in your step as we head towards the summer months where there are plenty of memories to be made.
Also keep an eye out for our Mother’s Day blog in a couple of weeks time – it may give you some inspiration if you’re struggling for gift ideas, or are looking for something special that’s also a little bit different from the traditional presents such as flowers and chocolates (which of course are still lovely 😊).
